Quinn Cox, the Mayor of Haverhill, has taken a virtual office at The EpiCentre in Haverhill for his new business QRC Property Group.
The company has been set up by Quinn Cox following a career in teaching and more recently in laser engineering, to buy and refurbish residential property.
Cox, says: “initially, we will buy residential properties for refurbishment and onward sale with a target of undertaking 2-3 properties a year. As our business develops we would like to retain some properties to create an investment portfolio with a meaningful rental income stream.”
Cox who is currently the Mayor of Haverhill, is also a Labour councillor for Haverhill North Ward.
He is very supportive of The EpiCentre which opened its doors in 2020 and since then has grown significantly with more than 50 companies now in occupation, and it being over 80% full. “I have been there often as a councillor. It is incredibly professionally run with friendly staff, a nice café and plenty of parking space. If I need a meeting I can just book one of the centre’s rooms. The centre is a beacon for the town,” he adds.
Helen Earl, centre manager at The EpiCentre, says: “As Mayor of Haverhill, Quinn is a key part of the community, and has a passion for the town. This is what we are building here. The more we grow the more we become part of the local eco-system bringing the community together and supporting our growing businesses.”
