Inside The EpiCentre
The EpiCentre in Haverhill opened mid-lockdown. A brand new, facility of 53 offices and shared lab space is available for companies and individuals who are looking for space for 3 to 13 people, hot desks and dedicated lab benches with access to equipment. But we are more than just a desk. We are creating a hub for innovation, bringing together inspiring and innovative minds, to help build a community in the East of England. To support all customers at the Centre, we have complimentary business support through our Innovation Director, who works with you to help move your business to the next level.
Flexible office space that offers great value:
- A complimentary Day Pass to try out our facilities
- Flexible terms on office agreements
- Dedicated Lab Bench including shared equipment, waste management, data package and write-up space
- Spacious offices and work areas with COVID safety measures in place
- Break-out and fully equipped kitchen
It has been our ambition from the start to create a community of innovative, tech and science focused businesses in the East of England. We are proud to say that even during lockdown, our tenants have been collaborating and supporting each other. They have access to the wealth of knowledge available from the string network of Oxford Innovation centres across the UK and a primary focus has been to provide business support at The EpiCentre.
Business Support and Coaching to help move your business forward
Our business support programme has continued, both on and offline. Being part of the Innovation Centre Network provides our clients with key influence across the region. By engaging with our services, our tenants have been well-positioned to adapt to changing circumstances. We offer:

- Strategic growth support
- GROWTHmapper: a 360° data analysis of your business
- Brand and marketing positioning
- Masterclasses and access to a wider network of Oxford Innovation events
- Pitching support
These can all be accessed and delivered via our Innovation Director Babita, who is experienced in business start-ups and scale-ups, has 2 companies of her own and has worked across a diverse range of industries.
Café, Events and More
We are very close to announcing our new Café partner a really important addition to The EpiCentre family. In the near future you will be able to safely order your coffee, lunch and pastries onsite. This service is also available for corporate catering when external meetings are back up and running. In terms of our Events Programme please check out the Events section on our website. Whilst these are online sessions at the moment as soon as we progress further into the 4-step programme the Government announced to ease lockdown and restrictions, we plan to get in-person events here including free networking, workshops, and masterclasses from industry leaders. We look forward to welcoming some industry experts. And if you’re looking to host, our rentable meeting space is available to all.
All in all, we are very excited to start this next stage of our journey as we step into Spring. Many thanks to our existing tenants, partners, and Innovation Centre team for being so open-minded and resilient.
