CP Packaging, a leading UK custom printed packaging company for the food and beverage sector, has taken space at The EpiCentre.
The company with a turnover of £3m is run by Kem Gokay (pictured) and his brother Altan and was started 10 years ago, with their HQ in north London. Kem and his family moved to the village of Clare near Haverhill in 2019 and following a period of working at home during the pandemic has now moved to The EpiCentre.
Gokay says; “The EpiCentre couldn’t be more perfectly located for me as it is just 15 minutes away from my home. Working from home was only supposed to be for a temporary period during the pandemic and it is great to be in a working environment where one meets people and can bounce ideas off them. I have already made some invaluable contacts at the regular networking events that The EpiCentre holds.”
“We have graphic designers who work remotely with the core admin and operation team in North London but we will be bringing in more staff allowing my brother and me to concentrate on sales and marketing and at that point will be taking larger office at The EpiCentre.”

Gokay explains “We are one of the most popular companies in the UK for custom printed packaging especially in the takeaway food and restaurant sector. We have manufactured and made packaging for multi-national franchises, coffee shop chains, and independent street food vendors and have consulted for the likes of Subway, Chopstix Noodle Bars, Chaiwala and many more,” adds Gokay.”
The company’s range of products include coffee cups, burger and pizza boxes and everything needed to run an outlet. The products are manufactured with factory partners mainly in the UK but also in mainland Europe.
The EpiCentre opened its doors for business at the beginning of November 2020 and has since become a prime business hub for entrepreneurs and fast growing companies in the surrounding area, providing a mix of office and laboratory space for its occupiers that now totals 35 companies in number.
