Defibrillator Training Session with Haverhill First Responders – 1st Session
January 23 @ 09:00 - 11:00

Haverhill First Responders provide CPR & AED training for both the community and businesses in the Haverhill area.
This will be a free, interactive session to give confidence in using the defibrillators, found all over the country.
Responders are dispatched following a 999 call and being based locally, often arrive before the ambulance to begin life-saving care. This gives patients the best possible chance of survival in time critical incidents. All our responders give their time voluntarily, offering emergency care for the whole community; supporting residents, businesses and families who live and work in the area.
They also fundraise for, install, and manage public access Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) across Haverhill, Kedington, and Hundon. This provides thousands of residents and businesses access to lifesaving pieces of equipment in the event of a cardiac arrest.
In recent months, their responders have been called to several local workplaces to begin life-saving treatment following accidents and medical emergencies at work.
The group relies heavily on donations and the generosity of local people, organisations and community-minded businesses. They are always looking to partner with local businesses and would welcome any support you might be able to offer the group to help to continue to respond quickly, with the right equipment and training to give the best possible care and save lives.
