Business Advice Drop in sessions as a part of the West Suffolk Business Festival – Week 2

As part of the 2024 West Suffolk Business Festival, The EpiCentre will host free daily drop-in sessions with the companies below.
Each day, they will be available for a chat in our cafe, The Hub, between 10am-2pm ( approx).
Week 2 –
- Monday 7th Oct – Department of Work & Pensions – Karen Dennis –what the Department can offer to Employers to assist them with candidates from Job Centres, Access to Work & Disability Confident.
- Tuesday 8th Oct – Paul Smith – St James Place Personal Finance Management – Discover the relief of invaluable advice. Whether you’re just starting out, planning your retirement or somewhere in between, taking expert advice can be truly invaluable. Our principal aim is to guide you to the best possible outcome and help you achieve your financial goals. Do you feel you’re paying too much tax, have multiple pension pots from previous employers, wish to understand your retirement position, or simply wish to start saving for the future?

- Friday 11th October – WS Training – How to Educate & Develop Your Workforce . There are many benefits and reasons for you to upskill your workforce and improve your staff morale. Whether you have mandatory training needs, skills gaps within your business or are looking for extra pairs of hands we will explore the variety of opportunities available to you. In this interactive session we will dive into your workforce development needs and send you away with all the tools you need to support the growth of your staff. We will cover Work Experience, Supported Internships, Apprenticeships, Commercial Training and explore all of the funding and incentives available to you.
