Under the new initiative, anyone who refers a business that subsequently takes laboratory accommodation at The EpiCentre will receive a £500 referral reward.

Over the years, many of the businesses based at the centre have found their home through recommendations from trusted contacts, industry peers and professional networks.

One example is Biotix, a biotech company specialising in skin microbiome research, which has successfully grown its operations at The EpiCentre, demonstrating how access to the right facilities and environment can support ambitious companies as they scale. Further strengthening the offering, The EpiCentre has recently invested in new laboratory equipment including a fluorescent microscope and a qPCR machine. This has been made possible with the support of a UKSPF (UK Shared Prosperity Fund) grant, giving customers access to enhanced capabilities and helping create an even better environment for research, development and innovation.

- Referrals must be placed through the referral form on this website – no other method will be accepted.
- Offer only valid for lab space referrals where there is no prior knowledge of the company being referred.
- Lab space referrers will receive £200 worth of Love2Shop vouchers on after a lab space licence agreement has been signed and completed, and a further £300 worth of Love2Shop vouchers when the referred company has been in occupation for 3 months.
- No cash alternative is available.
- Initial Vouchers will be sent out within 14 days of a licence agreement being signed and completed, with follow-up vouchers sent after 3 months of occupation.
- Referrals can be made at The EpiCentre only.
- Existing occupiers do not qualify as a referral.
- This offer is not open to employees of Oxford Innovation Space or any other division of the SQW Group.
